Save-A-Lot: Fuel Your Family Road Trip & Contest (Baltimore, MD Area)

Save-A-Lot kicked off its annual Fuel Your Family Road Trip. Road Scholars Alex and Molly, two recent college graduates, will be traveling across 13 states in July and August to help raise awareness for Save-A-Lot as the go-to destination for affordable, high-quality food.

The Road Scholars will visit a Save-A-Lot store in Baltimore on Aug. 18 through 21. The first five readers who find Alex and Molly and say “I SAVE A LOT WITH MS. COUPONISTA” will receive gift cards and product samples. The Road Scholars will be at the the following Save-A-Lot stores at these times:
  • Dundalk/Baltimore, MD Save-A-Lot store (1401 Merritt Blvd.) on Saturday 8.18 from 2-4pm local time.
  • Brooklyn Park/Baltimore, MD Save-A-Lot store (5007 Ritchie Hwy.) on Monday 8.20 from 12-2pm local time.
  • Baltimore, Save-A-Lot store (6836 Reisterstown Rd.) on Tuesday 8.21 from 1-3pm local time.

Hitting the road for the 18-city, 30-day, 2,000-mile journey will be two Save-A-Lot brand ambassadors, Molly Stankovsky and Alex Frecon, both of Minneapolis, who won a national competition to serve as this year’s Fuel Your Family “Road Scholars.”

Along the route, the Road Scholars will attend community events, conduct random acts of kindness, host customer appreciation events at Save-A-Lot stores, visit local Boys & Girls Clubs, and share recipes and tips for quick, easy, affordable meals.
