OMG… Spinach, Tomato and Feta Pizza (Must Try Recipe)

spinachtomfetapizza_n_lg I’m trying to eat healthier, so I’m experimenting with new recipes. I made this pizza this weekend and OMG its so delish, I had to share!

Spinach, Tomato and Feta Pizza

  • 1 – Whole wheat pita (or other whole wheat personal-sized pizza crust)
  • 2 tablespoons – Part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 4 –  thin slices of fresh tomato
  • 2 ounces – Frozen spinach (thawed, drained of excess water)
  • 1/8 cup – Reduced fat Feta cheese
  • Seasonings: Garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano (or Italian seasoning)

Spoon ricotta over the pita; sprinkle with garlic and oregano.  Top with spinach, season with salt and pepper. Add tomato slices and feta. Add more seasoning, if desired. Bake in 400 degree preheated oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. ENJOY!
