UPDATE: My Winnings from “The Price Is Right”

Everyday since I have been on The Price is Right, someone asks me: “did you get your car yet?” So I wanted to give you an update…

After the show, I filled out paperwork to accept or decline my prizes.  Weeks later, they send me a notice to pay taxes on my prizes.

After the show aired, someone from the Chevrolet dealer called me to place the order for my car. I won a manual Chevrolet Sonic, I had the option to pay out-of-pocket to upgrade to any new car Chevrolet offers. I declined and decided to trade-in or sell the car. (Thanks to coupons, I have been saving for a new car. I may use this trade as my coupon to get something nice, but my Toyota is paid for and its still running great at 170K miles.)

After more waiting, my car was finally manufactured to specifications and was shipped to my local dealer. The dealer said my car has arrived, they are just waiting on… more paperwork. I should get it this week, I just need to get someone to drive it, because I can’t drive a stick.

I also won a NordicTrack FreeStrider and received the order confirmation for it today! I already cleared out room in my basement for it.
